Cameron Business Park

The Cameron Business Park is a great location with traffic frontage on State Highway 36, and US Highways 190 and 77. The business park is designed for light industrial and commercial development. New projects at the business park include:

  • Milam Inns and Suites a Budget Host property opened in February of 2007

Highway Frontage lots are still available and ideally suited for:

  • Restaurants
  • Automobile Dealerships
  • Medical Clinics and Services
  • Retail Businesses
  • Enterprises requiring High Visibilty Hwy Frontage

Site options are available in one to five acre tracts.

Take a look at the Business Park Plat. Electricity, gas, water, sewer, telephone and cable utilities are all available. Management of storm water in site preparation should be minimal due to a regional detention pond incorporated into the Business Park. You may see an overall view of Cameron and the placement of the Business Park here.

Published TxDot traffic count indicated 8,900 vehicles per day pass in front of the park. However, Bob Colwell, public transportation officer for the Bryan District, estimated that 2006 traffic counts were approximately 13,100 vehicles per day and by 2026, to 20,100 vehicles per day. Those numbers represent a sizable prospective customer base for any commercial or retail business locating in Cameron Business Park. The most up-to-date TX Dot traffic counts are available here.

Industrial Park

Cameron also has an established Industrial Park that includes four major manufacturers, who provide over 500 jobs. One tract, a 26-acre site with a BNSF rail spur, is currently available in the Industrial Park located on Industrial Boulevard just off Hwy 77 North. We are seeking new businesses and industries that would like to grow with Cameron and our current successful industrial partners for the Business Park and the Industrial Park.
